Fallout: The Road to Tipperary is a fan film trilogy set in the United Kingdom within the Fallout game universe.

The trilogy follows Vic, a strange, wondering hermit making his way through the ruins of the United Kingdom, now known as The Blight. Seemingly looking for something or someone. We see him come across the various characters and creatures that now inhabit this wild world. Some are good, some are bad, and some are just trying to survive. Eventually, Vic has to figure out which one he’s going to be.

Starting from a succsessful kickstarter campaign, this film series humble beginnings as a single film grew into a three part epic saga exploring the human condition, the effects of war and its aftermath, the desperation of desperate people, the excentricity of the british, the dark humour behind survival and the strength of hope in a hopeless land.

The colourful cast of diverse characters that make up “The Blight” are played by some of the most talented performers in the industry, who gave their time, energy and even warmth (filming in abandonded buildings in the winter can take its toll) to this passion project. With a cast of 40+ strong, every character and story is worthy of their own film and this is thanks to the brilliant portrayals of the cast in question.

We are aiming to release the trilogy on youtube starting in 2025 (providing the editing is done by then) with part one The Blight kicking off the trilogy. Part one – The Blight

In this first part of the trilogy we are introduced to “The Blight”, the strange and curious wastland that was once the United Kingdom.

Here we first meet Vic, the mysterious hermit as he travels through the barren landscape, coming across some of the strangest and most curious examples of people “Surviving”.

Cannibals, undead clerics, slavers, merchants, archers, carniverous plants and more this film pays homage to the beauty that is the “Side mission” with all the randomness that comes with it. If you liked “Alice in wonderland”, then this is for you. With more radiation of course.

Part two – The Mystery of Maple

In part two we swap wandering through various locations and enviroments to a story set in one singular place, populated with one singular group of people, The Village of Maple.

After crossing paths with the young runaway Sheradee, Vic and her form a friendship and she takes him back to her village, a rare example of a commune in an indivisualistic world.

Is this haven all it seems? Who is this “Grandfather” the village claims to worship, what secrets does the pre war robot that guards it hold and just how does their charasmatic leader Maleek govern such a large group of people? To be revealed…if you liked the Wicker Man you’ll love this.

Part three – The Ghosts of the Old World

In this final part of the story, Vic’s past finally catches up to him.

Just where did this mysterious hermit come from? Why is he so determined to head north. All it seems is that he is looking for something long since buried…or someone.

We meet medics, battle bounty hunters and plead with politicians in this final act of Vic’s story. A world of hideous mutations, starvation and death, yet the most dangerous monsters are people. People never change.

Neither does war, as some folks say….

Character stats and bios:

Staying true to the spirit and brand of the Fallout game series was a top priority for me, both as a fan and a filmmaker.

To honor that, I created detailed character sheets for every character in the film series, complete with their S.P.E.C.I.A.L. rankings, backstories, actor names, and a few fun facts about their inspirations.
